What's included

This event offers the opportunity for our accredited courses and services providers to engage directly with ŠÊ˜·³ÇëŠ×ÓÍÆË] colleagues and departments and aims to provide a valuable and supportive space for networking together in person. The day is tailored to give delegates the best opportunity to gain a better understanding of current ŠÊ˜·³ÇëŠ×ÓÍÆË] workstreams and demonstrate how we’re working to support members and develop the profession. The event also looks to engage with and share the vast bank of knowledge within our current accredited course and services, so we can all learn from lived experience with key takeaways which can be implemented after the event.

The aims of the conference are to:Ìý

  • To offer accredited course and service members the benefit of in-person engagement with ŠÊ˜·³ÇëŠ×ÓÍÆË] staff and networking opportunities with others
  • To support courses and services by providing updates on relevant ŠÊ˜·³ÇëŠ×ÓÍÆË] workstreams and other topics of interest that may be helpful for them in development of their course or service provision
  • To offer accredited courses and services an opportunity to promote themselves and their services/developments (via networking opportunities)
  • To promote the advantages of ŠÊ˜·³ÇëŠ×ÓÍÆË] accreditation to courses and services and add value to their accreditation (via C&S officer presentation)
  • To support courses and services by providing relevant CPD activities related the theme of the day (networking and connecting together)

The learning outcomes of the conference are to:Ìý

  • Understand how ŠÊ˜·³ÇëŠ×ÓÍÆË] is working to support courses and services and develop the professional standing of C&P
  • Learn about current workstreams within ŠÊ˜·³ÇëŠ×ÓÍÆË], particularly those relevant for courses and services eg. EDI strategy and SCoPEd developments
  • Increase in knowledge of specific areas presented in keynote – based on good practice, gain hints and tips from professional and lived experience
  • Learn more about other courses and services and what they are developing/providing in their respective fields – via pictorial presentations
  • To benefit from active engagement from ŠÊ˜·³ÇëŠ×ÓÍÆË] staff across departments to discuss issues or points of interest
