About me and my therapy practice
I'm a down-to-earth, working-class counsellor with both personal and professional experience of mental health challenges. I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore what’s going on and begin to make sense of things. I specialise in areas such as extreme anxiety and depression, bereavement, loneliness, social isolation, neurodivergence, and LGBTQ+ issues.
Our sessions are all about you—your needs, your goals, and your pace. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to begin, I’ll support you with empathy, honesty, and practical tools to help you move forward. I work flexibly, adapting my approach to suit what works best for you.
It can feel scary and confusing to reach out when you're struggling, but you're not alone. Together, we can build a therapeutic relationship based on trust, where you feel heard and understood. Over time, you’ll start to feel more grounded, more in control, and more connected to who you are.
Take that first step—you deserve support.
Practice description
I'm a qualified person-centred counsellor, which means I work with empathy, warmth, and respect—supporting you to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Alongside this, I also have experience in delivering solution-focused therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), offering practical strategies when they’re needed.
As a creative person, I understand that sometimes words can be hard to find. In our sessions, I can offer art-based approaches as another way to express and explore what you're feeling—no artistic skill needed, just a willingness to try something different if it feels right for you.
My first session
Our first session will be a gentle and supportive conversation, giving us a chance to get to know each other in a professional, relaxed way. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with—there’s no pressure. Together, we’ll start to explore what you’re going through and begin identifying the goals you’d like to work towards in therapy.
There’s no rush. The pace is entirely up to you, and I’ll be here to support you each step of the way. Over time, we’ll build a therapeutic relationship where you can begin to feel safe, understood, and empowered to move forward—towards greater emotional wellbeing, clarity, and confidence in yourself.

About me and my therapy practice
I’m a down-to-earth, working-class counsellor who brings both life experience and professional training to the work I do. I get that mental health struggles can feel messy, overwhelming, or just plain exhausting—and I’m here to help you find your way through. I’ve supported people dealing with everything from intense anxiety and depression to grief, loneliness, social isolation, neurodivergence, and LGBTQ+ issues.
There’s no one-size-fits-all here. We’ll work in a way that suits you, because this is your space and your journey. I’m here to listen, support, and offer the tools and space you need to start feeling more like yourself again.
It’s okay if things feel a bit all over the place right now. Reaching out is a big step, and from there, we’ll take it slow, build trust, and figure things out together. It’s not just about feeling better—it’s about reconnecting with who you are and where you want to be.
Practice description
I’m a qualified person-centred counsellor, which means I’ll meet you with empathy, honesty, and zero judgement—holding space for whatever you’re going through. Alongside this, I also bring experience in solution-focused therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), so if you're looking for something more practical or goal-driven, we can work that way too.
I’m also a creative at heart, and sometimes words just don’t cut it—that’s totally okay. If it feels right for you, I offer art-based approaches in our sessions as another way to explore what’s going on beneath the surface. You don’t need any art skills at all—just a willingness to express yourself in your own way.
My first session
Our first session is really just a chance for us to have a chat and get a feel for working together. There’s no pressure to dive into anything heavy unless you’re ready—you can share as much or as little as you want. It’s your space, and I’ll meet you exactly where you’re at.
We’ll start to figure out what’s been going on, what you might want to change, and how I can best support you. You don’t need to have all the answers—whether your goals are clear or you’re just feeling a bit lost, that’s totally fine. We’ll take it one step at a time.
This is your space to breathe, figure things out, and start feeling more like yourself again.
