About me and my therapy practice

Life can feel overwhelming. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, burnout, depression, or major life changes, it is easy to feel lost. Family dynamics, relationships, and work stress can shape how you see yourself and the world around you. Therapy provides support through these challenges, helping you gain clarity and resilience.

My goal is to help you move forward with confidence. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back and work towards a more fulfilling life.

Therapy starts with a strong, trusting relationship where you feel safe, heard, and understood. My role is to support and gently challenge you as you gain clarity and confidence.

Everyone’s journey is different, so I tailor my approach to your unique experiences and goals. Together, we’ll explore how past experiences shape your present, helping you process emotions, break unhelpful patterns, and move forward.

Therapy isn’t just about reflection. It’s about change. We’ll work towards meaningful goals, creating small but powerful shifts that lead to a more fulfilling life.

Practice description

Qualifications: I hold an MSc (Distinction) and Clinical Diploma in Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute and a Business Coaching Certification from Cambridge University.

I am accredited by the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy), a registered member of the ŠÊ˜·³ÇëŠ×ÓÍÆË] (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and a member of the AC (Association for Coaching). I am fully insured, DBS-checked, and ICO-registered for data protection.

My first session

This initial session is important in understanding what’s happening in your life, what has brought you to therapy, how you feel, and what you might hope to gain from the process. We’ll also discuss some practical aspects such as fees, session length, frequency, and how long you might want to work together.

I’ll ask you to share a little about your life so far. This might include the people who have been important to you, significant events, any experiences of illness, accidents, loss or bereavement, and how you tend to soothe yourself.

It’s also helpful for me to understand whether you feel safe, both in yourself and in your environment, so that we can discuss any support you might need together.

More than anything, this first session is about creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. You are not obligated to continue beyond this session unless it feels right for you.
